Son of God, Savior of the World, Jesus Christ is the central figure of the Word of God. We are Jesus people! He has paid the penalty for our sins, transformed our lives, welcomed us into his forever family, and given us eternal life and hope. Jesus is everything to us!

GOD’S WORD

God’s Word provides the foundation for everything we believe and do. The Bible is no ordinary book. It is the inspired and inerrant Word of God. It tells us about God’s love. It gives us the Good News (Gospel) of Christ’s salvation. Are you interested in exploring and understanding the most important book ever written? Our pastor’s messages provide serious, in-depth, interesting, and practical teaching from the Bible.

WORSHIP

Worship is the response of our heart to who God is and what he has done. Our Sunday morning worship service is a time of great meaning to us. The songs we sing, the scripture we read, the prayers we offer, the message our pastor preaches, they all enable us to express our love for and praise to God. But worship is not just a Sunday thing, it’s a 365 day, 24 hour a day, way of living and loving God!

SERVING

As followers of Christ, we have the privilege of serving others in his name. God calls us to a life of loving and caring for others. At Lakeside, you’ll be a part of a community that cares for and encourages each other. But we also care about Muskegon and the needs of the world. Our food pantry and “Clothes Closet” ministries help individuals and families in need.

SHARING

There is no greater joy than sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. Lakeside is focused on sharing Christ with Muskegon and the world. Throughout our history, we have supported hundreds of missionaries and aid workers. Today, Lakeside supports seventeen ministries in seven major geographical areas of the world.
